- Intervista
The following text is a transcription of an interview to Luciano Floridi, one of the prominent figures in the current debate on philosophy and technology. In this exchange, Floridi answers some questions concerning his academic and philosophical formation, his idea of philosophy of technology and his recently started collaboration with the University of Bologna. In particular, the interview focuses on several possible ways to understand the role of philosophy in today’s society, but also on the need for a reformation of philosophy as an academic discipline and a theoretical pursuit. In this regard, Floridi elaborates on his idea of philosophy as conceptual design.
