This short contribution quickly reviews all nine editions of Benedetto Croce’s Estetica, first published by the Palermo publisher Sandron (1902,1904 )and then by Laterza from Bari. In particular, we focus on the third edition (1908), which is equivalent to a real rewrite of the work and, in the final part of the essay, are examined some variants introduced by Croce in the last edition he revised while he was alive, in 1950. The article also mentions other Crocian writings of the early twentieth century on aesthetic issues and «Scrittori d’Italia» collection.
